Getting insurance to pay for all oral chemotherapy drugs

My daughter, Susan, is working with her oncologist in support of the Komen effort to get legislation passed.

If there are any Floridians here who are having difficulty getting oral chemotherapy drugs paid for in the same manner as IV drugs, they would like to hear from you.
This is being attempted in all states, but my daughter is working on this is Florida where she lives.

Ev, this sounds like a great project to bring up now in Congress. I have not heard of it, and hope Komen will get major publicity out and make it easy for patients to send in their support of this, to their representatives and senators. Please keep us informed. Thank you!

wish you all sucess in getting the legislation done
here in India it is mostly private medical insurance and ours last year's was exhausted by chemos&nherceptin (only 3) and the rest we paid
now this year i have sent a claim for reimbursement of tykerb and am keeping my fingers crossed
