Not giving Herceptin for tumors less than 1 cm questioned

As you may or may not know, chemotherapy and Herceptin are not recommended for HER2+ tumors under 1 cm. That premise is questioned in an article in Lancet Oncology. Unfortunately, I was only able to view a summary, and more unfortunately, the summary does not include any specific information about how to determine whether chemotherapy and Herceptin should be administered. It only points out that an issue exists.

Thanks Joan, I thought they were beginning to take the view that even DCIS with her2+ should have at least herceptin if not chemo!
