Hi. I have been lurking for the past year or two. You are all such an inspiration to me. I was hoping I could share this day with you ... my five-year cancer anniversary from Stage IIIA. Five years ago today they removed two tumors, invasive and DCIS, along with 7/12 positive nodes (which were all matted). My initial prognosis from my first oncology appt: Lisa has a medium to poor prognosis with a high risk of systematic failure. Thanks to my family, friends and those on this board including Joe who helped me so much, I am here today. I hope to share this story for another 40 years!
