Freaking Out! Abnormal chest xray after 7 years

I had a chest xray last week and it showed a densitly that was growing from last year. Now I'm freaking out!! I'm going to get a CT scan of the chest tomorrow. I'm 7 years out from dx and had a bad feeling about this year!! Need lots of prayers that it will be nothing!!

I just had a follow up yesterday (4 month schedule I am on for the next year and half) and I think my blood pressure soars even to go in for the scans and my lung x-ray. Thankfully mine was clear and I got good news, but I know how it feels living with it. Sorry, but cancer sucks!

Remember.....7 years....we do age during this process and there are many other non-cancer related things that creep up simply due to our age. (we just can't win can we???) But, it is a nice problem to have.

Michele, I know this is scary, and I would be freaking out if I were in your shoes. Having said that, I know of three people who went through a similar scare and they all turned out to have someting benign and treatable. So breathe in, breathe out. You will be ok.
