Friends,
I thought I'd share with you some good news. Before I started treatment in July, I had my first CEA blood test. The normal range is [0-5.0]. My number was 599.1. Last Friday, eight weeks into treatment, that number dropped to 30.6. My doctor's office believes this to be dramatic. She also cannot palpate the tumors anymore, and says I am going in the absolute right direction. Still, my first scans will be done on 8 October, and I suppose I should lighten the load of anxiety by accepting these numbers as good news.
