Stage one Reconstruction

Hello ladies! I wondered if any of you have had fat grafting as part of reconstruction. I had my fast graft done on Thursday and now I'm just doing the waiting game, to see if it works. We are trying to avoid doing a lat flap so this was my only other option.
Has anyone had any luck with this procedure? I understand it is fairly new for breast recon. Thanks ladies!

I don't have the experience. But I found three articles posted on the Board previously by using the 'search' button on top of the Board. The latest one is:

You will need to give us detailed report on every steps since you might be the first one undergoing the procedure. Take it easy and good luck to you.

Are you referring to fat graphs such as a TRAM which involves a muscle, or a DIEP? Or a micro fat transfer such as with the brava bra?
