Chest wall met or chest met?

I'm not sure if I heard my onc right. I heard him say mass and then my mind went blank. He something like it is located near the breast bone. When I asked if this is a bone met, he said, it is a free floating mass in between the breast bone and lung area. What?

Anyone with something similiar? I need to get a copy of my report so it will all sink in. I'm still spinning this morning.

I dont have any personal experience of this but really hope someone else can answer your question.
Why not put a call into your onc's office tomorrow for a more detailed explanation???

I had a soft tissue met right behind my sternum. The T-DM1 cleared that up

Thanks, Kim. I think I have the same met as you. I just read my report. I am having a bx next wednesday and I hope it shows that I am her2+ again. My skin recurrence was triple negative.
