View Full Version : Tykerb/Herceptin Combo...yes!

Her2 Friends, Just a little progress report here. After being put back on herceptin since December in combo with tykerb, I received some positive news yesterday. My recent ct scan of the chest showed that pesky lung nodule is decreasing in size! Since last April I have had some progression so I was so happy to hear it is now going the other way. My paper cuts on the feet I have had for 3 years with xeloda are clearing up, too. The stomach issues continue, and my onc said to be proactive with the immodium each day, rather than respond to "runs," which is exactly what Brenda suggested in an earlier post!! The abdomen and pelvis continue to be fine. Just wanted to share a bit of good news since it has been so sad here of late... your sis in her2 "Ceese" as dubbed by Lady Pink!

Congrats! I have been loving this combo for about 18 months now... and keeping my fingers crossed for many more for all of us who are benefiting from it!

I am so happy that this combo is working for you...I found it so easy to take...wish it would have worked better for me....Brenda is the diva on this combo...she knows all the tricks.....hope it works permanently for yoU!
