Discussed with onc..trials on chemo/herceptin

Okay, met with my onc. at the center yesterday.
I had a long discussion with him regarding herceptin treatment without chemo and are they planning any trials.

First he explained that Dennis Slamon already did those studies and that hercpetin alone only had a 9% - 12% effective value versus when it is combined with taxol,
or other chemo treatments.

Oh Ameila,
What a good question! Yesterday it was hail and wet snow. After my visit with the center I was working late at my office. When I left last night around 8PM it was really nasty out...lots of slush and ice. The next few days we are preparing for what they predict a heavy snow storm for Friday.....so I am ready!
