I became a Survivor! I am celebrating my 2nd cancerversary and I will continue to pray for many more! A big huge thank you to all of the women and men on this board who give me such hope and information. I don't know what I would do without you! The knowledge you share is so helpful on so many levels.

Congrats on two years! I met a well respected medical oncologist from IU med Simon Center at a fund raiser. He said two year mark is going to be the new magic number!

Cheers for two years and many more!

Love,
Dana

Thanks everyone!

Jackie07 You must have missed a few of my other posts awhile ago regarding my mother. She passed away June 17, 2008. I was just about to start my taxol/herceptin regimine the day we buried her. I had to start 2 days later. It was a very difficult time for me, but I got through it because of her strength and mine. She was a true fighter and an amazing Mother to both my brother and I. My father died when he was 31 of Melanoma, so cancer is way too familiar in our family. In the end both my parents died of mets to the brain. I try not to think about this but once in a while it creeps up. I hope and pray everything will continue to be good with me. It's never easy when the person you love so much is no longer with you.

Thanks again for your kinds words.
