I celebrated my first cancerversary this past Thursday alive and well at Disneyland. I hope (and have faith) that this is just the first one of many, many more.
I would like to thank all of you who are a part of this group and who have helped me (and continue to help) tremendously in my journey. I could not have done it without you.
It has been a difficult year, but looking back at it now, I can honestly say that while cancer is never welcome, it certainly brought about some positive changes in me and my outlook in life. I gained many friends (and lost others) and have a new appreciation for everything. Here's to life, health, strength, and true friendship and love!
Cheers to many cancerversaries for all of us,
Marcia
