I am starting a new chemo drug called tykerb but i have a problem swallowing pills . they say not to chew them has anyone chewed these pills or crushed them up with something? Any ideas

You are not to crush or chew these and take them on an empty stomach...they are kinda big looking, but they are coated so they slide right down. I don't like taking pilss either, but no problem with these...I can swallow 2 at a time now!!!!

I don't know how I do it, but I swallow all 4 at a time! No problema... and I have been a freak about swallowing pills most of my life. Cancer changed all that, I guess. I no longer meet a pill that gives me problems.
