Tiptoe, our Mascot's, continuing adventures...

Before leaving Jackie07 for Austin, Tip and Tex explored a little more around their Chinese-American temporary home in central Texas.

In case anyone is curious. My Mother did the painting (Chinese water color - a group of fish symbolizes a harmonious family life) and my Father did the caligraphy of the couplet he wrote for me 21 years ago. They are now 86 and 94 respectively. My father put my name on the very top of each verse. (No, they are not pronounced as 'Ja' 'kie'. :)

I was born in the year of the 'Mouse'. And my 2nd Brother (who is finishing his treatment for stage IIa colon cancer) 10 years my senior was born in the year of the 'Tiger' (Tex) He's a tall, handsome guy with many pretty girl friends when he was young. I always stay late at night - just like 'Tiptoe' ... :).

And yes, there's a little crack on the wall because we live on a little hill and the weather here in Texas is very unpredictable...
