Those shots are mostly at the opening of the exhibit hours and we are cued up and ready to pass our message to all comers.

By the way - our booth had the BEST GIVEAWAYS. We even had little bottles of hand sanitizer with a front label saying HER2support.org. And we had a nice color of pink eyeglass cleaner cloths also with the logo and web site. People snapped them up!

I am sure that Tex missed you a great deal but I want to assure you that Tiptoe and Tex were in good hands. Hopefully, the new body piercings, clothes, jewelry, and "updates" of their looks provided some comfort to them both. They seemed happy and content and ready to begin their new journey.

Laurel - yes, they were long hours. We closed the booth at 5:30, hot-footed it over to see any posters of interest before going into the Mentor Session until 7:30. And then went to an evening session, or to the GSK reception, as the case may be. Some brave souls even began with a 6:15 breakfast meeting one day ...

By the way, there was food at every stop along the way. You learn to pick and choose.

Steph, I don't know how the dog got into the picture other than she is very sneaky. The other day a bag of "Beggin Strips" fell on the floor. I watched her as several times she gingerly approached the bag, removed a treat and ran behind the sofa and ate it. She was very careful not to disturb the bag.

Funny Joe, Jackalopes and Chupacabras follow me everywhere. I'd prefer cute little Dachshunds, but I guess my meds like Jackalopes and Chupacabras.

Yes, that 35 years is impressive, but we can do better than that!

Add in Chrisy who was also diagnosed in 2002, and we boost the survival number to 42!! Between the 4 of us attending the symposium.

And we WILL keep adding to that number.

Brenda - "pick and choose" because certain venues have the better quality and variety food. I can only eat so much of the "gut bomb" variety.

That IS a good dog trick. It might even surpass being able to get a dog treat out of a bag without disturbing the bag (and going behind the couch to eat quietly).
