miracle fruit

I was just thinking about something a researcher told me about at the AACR conference last year in Denver. The Miracle Fruit (that's its real name) is a berry from Africa. Once you eat it, it makes everything sour or bitter that you eat afterward taste sweet! He said they were growing the plants at his facility and trying it as a solution for chemo patients who have that metallic taste in their mouth or have trouble eating certain foods because of the taste. I just found out you can order tablets of it (saw it on amazon.com) or you can get plants or seeds and grow your own! Sounds like fun to me.
