Well, to be fair to CNN they did not offer an opinion at all regarding the new recommendations, at least in this article. They did, however, quote a poll stratifying women's opposition to the panel's guidelines.

Well, well, well....

Perhaps the smoking gun? The Senate health reform bill (which the Senate will begin debating on November 30), relies heavily on the Task Force’s recommendations. The Preventive Services Task Force is mentioned no less than two dozen times in the Senate bill (26 total mentions).
