Anyone have it due to chemo or other reasons?

Rich,
I seem to be more prone to it since radiation. This is also my worst season for allergies, which can be a contributing factor.

I've had it several times this yr which is highly unusual for me....same for my husband. Lots of sinus problems and a upper respiratory infection not long ago. Mine is not due to chemo though...but something is going around it seems?

I am having laryngitis now.. I feel my lymph nodes when I press on them.It hurts.I went to the Dr. today, I came out of his office with orders for 3 things, cat scan of chest, cat scan of Abdomen.. 2-d echo.
Even more on me, I fell on my back landed on a concrete slab.. Xray done My 6th rib is fractured. My elbow has a goose egg size , blue area around my elbow pretty large, plus several scrapes from the concrete.Knot on my head as well. The Dr. is saying we may have to go back to chemo Iv. as this zeloda and tykerb are not controlling my cancer. I am having progression in my chest.
I must say, I was embarassed in front of all the people coming out of the hospital, and seeing me on the ground.
Oh well, I probably will never see them again. At least I hope so... I guess I have rambled enough for tonight. Thanks for listening.

I had it for quite some time...still do to a popint, my voice is different...finally diagnosed by a throat surgeon...paralyzed vocal cord...can be caused by chemo or nodes pressing on the area....the only treatment is a teflon stent placed in the vocal cord....and only as a last resort....laryngitis, coughing and chocking on cold liquids, all symptoms
