I've seen you post on a couple of threads lately, and was glad to see you are "Still Here" and checking up on us.

I hope you can check in with us as well, and let us know how you are doing. We are forever sisters and brothers in this family, and are always here to support you.

(karen has been bearing the unbearable pain of losing her son Randy earlier this year - she shared with me the beautiful stories her daughter Nicky told at his memorial. it made me laugh while crying - just like so many other things in this life.

Very sorry to learn of Karen's losing her son.

I owe a lot to Karen (still here) for her organizing the group to the Miraval spa outside of Tucson. We had such a wonderful and healing time there together. We did laugh a lot at the family stories we all shared.

As fate would have it I just ran across my file on Miraval this very week. Thought what a nice idea it would be to go back again!

Karen, you have my empathy, sympathy and love. You have been through and seen a lot in your hospital work. I hope you feel the love coming your way.

Karen, aka "Still Here", you will always, ALWAYS, occupy a special place in my heart. You were the first person I actually spoke to on the phone from this site after Nikki passed away. You were instrumental in setting up the Miraval trip, and fundraising. Karen, please know that you will always be, and have been, in my thoughts and prayers.
