Hi,
I spoke with Marie tonite. She wanted me to let you all know that she is doing okay; Ed is sleeping a lot, about 22 hours a day, and she does not think he can get down the stairs to see the doctor again, but will see. She is having hospice come to their place on Tuesday. He is not in much pain, he has a lot of medication, and they have come to terms with their situation as much as possible. She is trying to spend some time doing things for herself, walking and meditating, etc. She may or not post here a lot in the days ahead, depends on her mood (I personally told her to just do what she needed to do, and she told me to let you know how she was doing). If you want to reach her, I would suggest a personal message.
