After having my thyroid meds changed 3x to balance TSH; the new perscription is 125mcg. But I have had constant nausea for over 3 months now. Prilosec was recommended but that is for heartburn so I declined. Any suggestions ?

Have you tried ginger? It can be used in any form---suck on a little piece of fresh ginger, drink ginger tea, or throw some fresh ginger in whatever you are cooking for dinner.

Tami: Give the Prisolec a try, it is over the counter now. Excess stomach acid is caused when taking many types of treatments and can make you feel nauseated. You will feel better in about a week if it is acid related. If it is, stay on the Prisolec, don't stop it when you feel better.
The ginger is a good add on.
Hope it helps!!

I would like to second the idea of ginger...I like the candied ginger sold bulk in the health food dept...just a little piece...and I also have had ginger crystals which can be mixed with either hot or cold water. xo Suzan
