Joe -
Coeur d'Alene, Idaho is not listed. But I have a friend here who is nearly finished with the qualification process for that location.
She says she found it on the Clinicaltrials.gov site. The first treatment is with the T-DM1 only and if all is well the patient gets pertuzumab is given the next time.

Hi Joe,
The link that you posted at the top on your original post has the same site for treatment that Steph mentions. I think it is the same trial that I am trying to get in. I will call those other centers tomorrow to find out.
Thanks for everything.

Sheila - I was thinking about that too! Reading the exclusions, it seems you would be able to qualify for this one.
Also, I encourage everyone to push on locations, the "listed locations" is never correct, it seems.

I did not qualify due to previous use of Xeloda, and the first time due to no previous anthracycline therapy

Hi Sheila
I am so sorry you do not qualify, it makes me so mad that there isn't one available yet. Surely Genentech must come up with one soon!

Hi Sheila
looking over your post I see that you are trying to get into the Her/DM1 trial and you mentioned that they excluded you at one point for use of Xeloda.
I had Xeloda a couple of years ago while on Tykerb and was still accepted. Now the trial of DM! I was on was every 3 weeks Phase II which has since closed. Maybe the one you tried had that as an exclusion. I know that my research co-ordinator fought very hard for me for other reason's at the time.
Good luck - it is a wonderful drug.
