Hi all.. I started a diet in late March and have lost 28 lbs!!!!! A local dietitian has a successful program where you weigh in 2 or 3 times a week and she gives you all her recipes. The plan is to give up all processed flour and sugar. So I cook a lot and eat fruits and veggies. I feel healthier. I must say I get off the diet from time to time but I just keep at it.
I had my 3 week treatment last week and the nurse said its really hard to lost weight while on Herceptin. I will be in treatment for a long, long time. I will keep at it... I have another 30 I could lose.

Congratulations on your weight-loss. I am on the opposite end - needing to gain weight.
Your post always remind me of asking my doctor about the medicine that will boost the MUGA score - 'enalaprial' - as is described in your signature.

Alice, Good For You!! I realize how this is not the easiest of tasks. Many benefits besides the weight loss too. You are eating better, feeling better and you are getting better. I am thrilled for you Lovey and gave you the 2 pounds so I can say you are past the half way mark (wink)! I am proud of you and happy that your hard work is paying off!!>>Believe51

That's great news Alice. Losing weight is one of the hardest things to do. You should be proud of yourself. I say - new outfit time!
That's an impressive amount of weight you shed! Good for you!
