I was looking for the abbreviation list that Joe had posted some time ago and came accross this thread. Thought I'd add something to it.

On June 20 (or June 21 - the day when the surgery completed) I
celebrated the 20th anniversary of my 23-hour brain (tumor - Central Neurocytoma) surgery. I had 10-day semi-comatose, went through Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy. 40 days later, I was discharged from the hospital. We continued my rehab at my In-law's home in the country. My Oldest Brother drilled me for another 3 weeks in my In-laws' yard. He flew back to Taiwan after I was able to walk without a cane.

Three residue tumors continued to grow, so I had three shots of Gamma-knife in 2001.

Now the MRI showed (last fall - but none of my doctors would tell me - they were afraid it would reenforce my 'hypochondriac' tendency even after I had experienced 'vertigo' last fall) the three tumors doubled their size again. As the temperature rises, my cranial pressure increases and I begin to experience more and more symptoms...

But, remember the saying 'It's not a brain tumor'? I just wanted to share with everyone that 'Even if it's a brain tumor...'
