Today is Christine and My 26th wedding anniversary. We are going to Epcot.

This June is also Christine's 10th Anniversary of being diagnosed as stage IV. We will celebrate this occasion at the San Diego Cancer Survivorship Celebration later this month.

Congratulations on your anniversaries. I can only echo what others have said. You are truly special people who have given hope and comfort to so many, not only in the States but worldwide.
Christine's story brilliantly shows that metastatic bc can be lived with and a good quality of life enjoyed. This is such an important message to hear as we all wait for the cure
I told Christine's story to my oncologist who clearly didn't believe me! Mind you she doesn't believe we will find a cure for her2 bc but i think she's wrong.
Meanwhile I continue to tell other women here in England about the board as it has been a lifeline for me and a source of not only great support but great advice.

ps. I checked out many cancer support group sites last week because a college choir friend who had colon cancer treatment 3 years ago was looking for support. I could not believe that most other cancer support groups - even the breast cancer ones - did not function like ours.

Ours is so special - truely like a family. And I realized it is because of you, a very special couple. Joe and Chrintine, your dedication to this site has brought Her2 patients and their friends and families together like no others. Thank you.
