I just wanted to let everyone know that three years ago this month I got the dreaded news of breast cancer. I never imagined I would be here today still NED. Since cancer I have learned to relax more, trust in God daily, never take my family for granted and so much more!!! It has been hard these past few months though. I had to put my mother in a nursing home because of her Alzheimer's. I am so glad I am here to be with her through this though. My daughter turns 13 tomorrow. I was so afraid I would never make it to seeing her as a teen. I post this for all of you who have just started this journey. I hope it gives you inspiration and hope. I also want to thank everyone on this board for all the wisdom and hope they gave me. Thank you so much!!
Love, Nancy

Nancy, I have been here for years and this gives me inspiration and hope!! Congratulations to you for a job well done, Sweetie. Keep enjoying those precious moments you have fought to see and continue to fight for. I am sorry about Mom, I know this is not an easy decision to come to, but I too am happy that you are here to see her through. Thanks for sharing these special thoughts with us, again they give us hope.
Happy birthday to your new teenager, things just keep getting better the older they get. Another gift for you both.>>Believe51

Thank you all so much. Just wanted to mention I had my second Zometa infusion last week. Did not have hardly any side effects compared to the first one. Hopefully each one gets easier.
