Dearest friends ~ it's 18mths today since my Oncologist gave me my 1st prognosis of 18mths - and I'm still here! http://her2support.org/vbulletin/images/icons/icon10.gif

In a way I still cant believe Im still here! And reading Andi and Steph's threads have made me think more about time... and how many parallel universes are there?? LOL I have a little laugh at myself and my forays into time travel.... cancer sure makes youthink about time!!! I still never really thought this could happen to me.

So I read my Eckhart Tolle and the gorgeous brave words of our wisdom warriors here on this board. Have laughs with my bubbas, try not to fight with my hubby too much.... he is my Wiradjuri Warrior and such a brave daddy-daddy, he loves his kids who are now 2 years and one month oldhttp://her2support.org/vbulletin/images/icons/icon10.gif we are very blessed.

I also practice my 12 Step Program and will go off with our bubbas and hubby to our Spiritual Progress meeting this morning (ODAAT). But I get ahead of myself... lol, lol timewise that is.

Right now http://her2support.org/vbulletin/images/icons/icon12.gif I betta just have some brekkie and practice gratitude for being alive while my hubby and bubbas sleep.

Blessings all

Hermircles,

You are a miracle. And I remember your first photos of the babies when they were only a few months old. They have really grown.

Hugs,

Congratulations on the 1st 18 months of many more to come! I do think this cancer thing takes us on many journeys as it works on us spiritually, emotionaly, and physically. I do wish at times that I had written it all down, but then again, perhaps forgetting has been one of the great blessings.
So glad that you are finding good in your journey, Marilyn.

Bravo Miracle!
We're full of surprises aren't we? I agree, time is relative. Congratulations. Gotta get my bubba out of the bubba bath now.

Congratulations !! Just keep focused on improving your health and living each day to the fullest. Don't pay attention to docs who try to give you a time limit.
I didn't. A doc told me I had six months to live in January, 2000. I keep sending him Christmas cards every year.

I also read Eckhart Tolle and since diagnosis work hard to live in the here and now.Someone recently said to me accept your diagnosis but NOT the prognosis! I try to think of this each day and you are living proof.
God bless you and your beautiful family
Much love

Congrats on your 18 months! Time is meaningless in our world. We just have to take the days as they come and be grateful for every moment. Enjoy your husband and bubbas!

Hello "Miracle" -
Thanks for the uplifting news. "Time" is just a word ...

We have talked about writing new chapters in the book of breast cancer, and you and others like Jackie H are contributing the Australian chapter!

You have been given a pair of wonderful distractions, so the canser does not have much room in your life. Keep on crowding it out and in no time you will see those bubbas graduating from high school.
