Ruth and I have talked a lot about the things that are on her "list" since her diagnosis with bc. Since that time we've tried to do a few of those "once in a lifetime" things, such as our trip to Machu Picchu last fall, and going to a Grand Slam tennis tournament. (Ruth is a tennis nut). Recently, she gave me a birthday present experience of something she knew was on MY list from long ago. What a surprise!
