Wondering? Tykerb and Appetite

Has anyone experienced less hunger since taking tykerb? Since my onc switched me to 4 pills along with the xeloda regimen, I have not been as hungry. I saw in a pamhlet it can contribute to this...anyone else in the tykerb crowd find this to be true. Fondly, Ceesun So sad to just read that we lost another sister to this disease, Donna.

I had less appetite and lost weight on xeloda/tykerb. But I started out on xeloda/herceptin and the weight loss started then so I don't know if it was the tykerb or xeloda or both that decreased the appetite. Either way the weight loss has been a good thing for me.

Ceesun, how is treatment going for you? Thinking about you strongly lately and when I do, I add another prayer to the mix. Hoping that this combo beats the ugly out of that cancer!! Please update us and set my mind to ease when you feel up to it.>>Believe51
