Thank you for posting Joe. I had missed that and what great presentation of such potentially confusing information about the laws and cancer patient care.

I would personally love to see something similar done for cancer patient's privacy rights (HIPAA) since recently my privacy rights were violated by an oncologist I saw over three years ago for a consult. I did file a consumer complaint. And soon afterward, I found out a friend of mine had the same thing happen to her with this same doc and she didn't realize her privacy rights were violated. She just thought this doc was an ass (pardon my french, but he is).

I think if more of us are aware of our rights, these docs would not be pushing the envelope in the privacy arena. I am not talking about a mistake (which is still wrong) I am talking about selling information for profit and marketing. It was really bad.
