I'm not going to lie, I'm exausted and feel like I have been thru the battle of a lifetime. But I've made it to the other side. I'm almost afraid to believe that I have finally gotten some good news after so many blows this past year.

Since january I have done 3 treatments of avastin & navelbine together and 2 more of navelbine by itself. I had 2 more treatments to go but I got the flu and just didn't feel I could go anymore so I ask to take 2 weeks off and my scans were coming up and I said I had an appt with my doc and I would go from there....turned out the scans were good and he is starting me on femara and we're praying I get a break from I.V. Chemo because boy do I need it.

If you look at my signature and see my cancer rollercoaster ride, I hope this will encourage some of you that are fighting so hard.

Thanks for sharing the wonderful news. A Bible verse came to mind: "Rest, so you can journey further" (somebody help me out with this one - I learned it in Chinese and just couldn't figure out the English version of it.)

That is wonderful news.
You certainly deserve to hear it...you have been putting up a great fight and kicking cancer in the groin.

Best of Luck with the Femara...enjoy your vacation from chemo.

Wow what a roller coaster, and how strange your disease has acted... all so rare. I have followed in my mother's footsteps - our dx being at same age, same type, same mets locations, it's been strange how bodies react so differently - yet so similarly.
