Thanks Ellen, Ed and I will most certainly go if he feels well.

Could this post serve as a sign up sheet?? Maybe we could get a running total of those going. If we can, maybe we could all meet in Boston for the day.

Would you mind this idea??>>Believe51

WomanofSteel, you made me smile with the 'Goof' thoughts and I will do the same for you buddy. May is a long way off and I am pretty sure that Ed should be feeling fine by then. Either way I am looking forward to meeting up with everyone. I would really like to see our East Coast Girls and Bill all get together for lunch. I am so excited for this conference!>>Believe51

Your plans sound great! If you all want to meet up for lunch, we can have a HER2 table designated in the cafeteria.
I look forward to seeing you in Boston.

Ellen, let's do it, this sounds terrific. It also sounds like you are involved with this project and I am really interested to hear how. Talk to me Ellen. And the designated table would be a definate I think. So far we have 5 of us. I am getting excited now.>>Believe51

Hi... at this time I am president of MBCN- the Metastatic Breast Cancer Network. We are an advocacy group dedicated to getting the metastatic voice heard. Take a look at our website www.mbcnetwork.org (http://www.mbcnetwork.org) . MBCN was started in 2004 by 2 women who were very involved in the bc community after their primary bc diagnosis. Upon being diagnosed with mets, they found the bc organizations had nothing to offer them.. they were not part of the pink ribbon survivors of those who beat the disease. They felt like the bc failures.

MBCN works to enable all of us living day in and day out with mbc to be our own best advocate by providing info and education. We are an all volunteer organization - we are a non-profit group. .. and we are happy to have you as a member!

Ellen,

I am glad you have joined our group. I am also Stage IV. I read the article on vaccines on your site. I am currently participating in the vaccine trial at the University of Washington I started at the end of January.

Ellen, Ed and I are going to make a day out of it and take the train to Boston. Sounds a little petty but for others and maybe for us...

Do we park in the garage as though we are going into DFCI for treatment?>>Thanks>Believe51
