Hi all,

Today is a special day for me, because I was diagnosed 5 years ago. I've been NED ever since.

I've seen my boys grow into bigger boys: they are 8, 13, 17 & 21 now.
I've started my own business
I've met new friends and strengthened bonds with old friends
I've ditched some so-called friends who weren't there for me when I needed them, and Boy, does that feel good!
I've done the things I always wanted to do "some day"
I've become a lot more like the person I want to be than I would have without breastcancer

For those of you who didn't get Herceptin: I didn't either. And here I am. Still going strong.

Thank you all for sharing this journey with me.

Jacqueline

congratulation! I will follow your footsteps. Without chemo, without radiation and without herceptin, I am now 3.5 years NED. I am on hormone (femara) therapy plus bone density monthly med. Many other food regimens. Once a while, I suspected bone or other aches but quickly I ruled out anything serious (since they go away and the pain was never severe). We can do it and we will.
