AstraZeneca is pleased to see additional data presented at SABCS reinforce that there is no evidence that a sequencing strategy is superior to a 5 year aromatase inhibitor (AIs) strategy. AstraZeneca believes that AIs should be used upfront in all newly diagnosed breast cancer postmenopausal women as it is critical to keep patients cancer free for as long as possible.
