G'mar chatimah tovah. Have an easy fast. (My mom's yartzeit is Sunday - 14 years have passed).

On Rosh Hashanah we are each inscribed in the Book of Life for the coming year. It is on Yom Kippur that our fate becomes sealed. However, with prayer, repentance, charity, acts of kindness and forgiveness we are given the power to mightily impact our destiny.
Yes, I too wish all my Sisters and Bros -- long life, health, happiness and prosperity.
And, I do believe that we have each been granted great empowerment, with our daily thoughts and acts, our daily prayers and enthusiasm, living each day with an open heart and generosity of Spirit. We each have the power to alter our predestination, with our consciously chosen words and deeds...
Bless you all... http://cdn-cf.aol.com/se/clip_art/gstres/celebrte/heart
And, Marcia, where's your poem??? I have looked and failed to locate it...

Hope your fast was easy - Marcia, Flori and Andi - and anyone else who fasted. I got the clearance from my doc. to fast yesterday, for the first time in 2 years... and I did it. However, I ate too much at the "Break the Fast" meal at my cousin's house last night... So what else is 'nu?'
Blessings for all here to be inscribed in the Book of Life.
all the best
