Hi everyone!

I arrived at the Race for the Cure event in Evansville Indiana this morning as the survivors were getting ready for the survivor's parade. My friend told me to go get in line (I wasn't sure I was going to) and then she asked me where I was going to go - under one year or 1-5 years. At that point I realized that today is my one year cancerverary!!! I told her about that (I didn't even realize and she didn't) and went and did the parade. At the end of it, it hit me and I started to cry. I still can't believe it. The lady next to me was also on Herceptin. Wednesday is my last treatment. Wow!

Thank you to everyone I have met and learned from on this board. You are all an inspiration to me!

Love,
Beth

I feel your excitement. Sharing it with others in that way is great. Let your emotions flow. You deserve it. I celebrate everyday. If I forget, something happens throughout the day to remind me that I am still here and to celebrate life to the fullest.

Hi Beth.....Congratulations to you on reaching your 1 year as a survivor. I remember that was a big anniversary for me. Now I'm at 3.......Hope is alive and real, isn't it!!!

Live every moment to the fullest.......none of us are offered any guarantees.....whether a cancer survivor or not.....we all have one life and there are no do overs ..... so go out their and live your life with joy and service to others.

Sending a BIG GENTLE HUG to you and ask God to shower you with His peace.
