And to all my other dear sisters!

Birthdays sure are specail these days.
There was a time when I was so foolish to feel that another year older...was...well you all know who are over 40 yrs. old...ugh....

Now I rejoice and lift up my head to the beautiful blue sky and say a prayer of thanks.

To share with all:

As I have just returned from the Outer Banks in No. Carolina...if you have not visited the area please try to fit it in somehow, especailly for those who are nature lovers and beach bums.

Each morning and evening my husband and dogs would
take our long walks along the shore. During the morning walks with the sun shining down on us and ocean hitting our feet I felt so alive and positive that God was watching over all of us. I thought of all my sisters who are fighting so hard each day and I thanked God for all the beauty he was giving me that morning but would he please also give healing .....the next day we had a cloudy day and light rain for most of the day but it stopped just around 6pm when we would take our eveing walks on the shore. For me it was an answer....
others may beleive this foolish and thats okay...but I am
feeling otherwise. The rest of the week the sun was strong and shinning on us.

As I celabrate another year I want to thank all of you who have become so dear and vital to me. I have shed many tears over the loss of some of our sisters and have even been angry along with my sadness. (I am only human)....This is a very special birthday for me - I feel so whole once again (which I thought would never happen after hearing the dr. tell me "you have bc")

I appreicate everything big and small in my life and treasure each moment of each day. My birthday wish as I blow out my candles later today will be for all of us.
