YES!!!!!! Finally Her2 breast cancer has been given national recognition reaching all that watched the Stand Up To Cancer Program this evening. I was elated that there was a bit on Her2 breast cancer tonight and they even introduced one particular case and targeted therapy. So many times you hear of breast cancer and we are just kind of lumped together in one big category, but tonight there was specific mention of her2 and what it is. Hooray!

I really liked listening to the gal's story of being diagnosed stage IV her2+ with mets to her lungs. She is doing well and raising her son two years later. NED! And she teaches a workout class! That was great having some attention on the her2+ bc.
