I was started on Adriamycin and Cytoxin and have had one infusion. This was to be followed by Taxotere and hercepton. After i read that the combo of Adriamycin and Hercepton has more risk for heart problems and for leukemia, I am wanting to switch to Taxotere, Carboplatin with Herceptin. Anyone ever switched?

Harmony,

I switched from Adriamycin and Cytoxin after 2 treatments in February. I did neoadjuvant therapy to shrink my tumors before my surgery. I did 4 treatments of taxol and herceptin after the two treatments. I started Taxotere, Carboplatin with Herceptin on July 31, and my next treatment is August 21.
