Prayers for my friend Barbara

I know we are powerful pray-ers here. Barbara was Stage IIIB Her2pos. and went through treatment when I did. Her husband Diccon was a rock for her. She is doing well. He has a rare gall bladder cancer. It came out of nowhere in April 2008. According to doc, he has a few weeks. I am praying for a miracle. She is getting small miracles every day, she says. Please pray for them both, that their days together will be blessed.

I am going to pray for your dear friend Barbara and her husband. How heartbreaking for them. I will pray that our Lord grants them blessings as well as peace and comfort through this. (And I will pray for you as well as I know that you are feeling sadness for your friend.)

I, too, ask our Lord to bless Barbara and Diccon. I also believe in miracles and that all things happen for a reason. However, we may not always know the reason, this side of Heaven.

May His peace and love surround them both and may God's Hand be felt by them both.
