Antioxidents after Radiation

Hi! There are some published studies saying to avoid antioxidents during radiation. Does anyone know when it is safe to start taking antioxidents again after your finished with radiation? Any input would be appreciated.

My rads onc told me no vitamin C (antioxidant) during treatment. I asked her when I could resume it, and she literally told me, "five minutes after your final treatment." I don't know of any studies on this.
