Hey all you moms. Going to brunch with my husband and boys (11 & 14) tomorrow for Mother's day.

Last week in public without a wig. Why is the hair such a big deal???? I wish it did not bother me so much.

We are wearing wigs, scarfs, hats for other people - especially strangers. I only wear my wigs when I am in the public. It is just too hot here in Texas to be wearing the stuff all the time, and I have very, very oilly skin. I would have gone around without it if I didn't have the big, wide scar on my head (the hair still has not filled that area after 18 years - but it's been improving)

Crew cut is kind of popular for women these days. I would say we have earned our rights to wear whatever hair style we are comfortable with.
