Update On Schoolteacher....

Hi All,
Just finished speaking with Amelia, she had her surgery (mastectomy) on Wed. and her surgery went well. She is home recovering at her Mother's home. Our Kate is home also...Kate visited Amelia and is doing well. Hopefully Kate will be posting and updating all about her leg, which is healing (Thank God)...our prayers for both are working guys. Ameilia was eager to offer her tumor for collection...do we know anymore about that project?

The dr. has told Ameilia that he wants her to start TCH and after her chemo trt, to have 25 trt of radiation.

I am calling Amelia tomorrow to check in on her and will give her any messages you may wish to tell her.

I am happy both of our sisters are home and thriving. God Bless them
and may they have a speedy recovery.

I have been looking for news on Kate, and prayed she was home and out of that hospital. She has spent TOO much time there already this year.

Update on Amelia is also appreciated.

We have some better understanding on the tissue donation and problems associated. Need to dovetail with Cynthia to see where she is on that, but after speaking with a number of people at the Cancer Researchers meeting who either run tissue banks or do the research, our eyes are opened to possibilities and problems.
