Please help this graduate student compile information for her Master's thesis:

Hello Christine,

We spoke earlier in February about the possibility of posting a survey for my master's project on your website. I am writing to inform you that our survey is complete and is in electronic format.

http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=LZihZxXb2yHW4GZKCVJiQA_3d_3d

Please click on the link above if you would like to complete a survey regarding how your life roles changed when you were diagnosed with breast cancer. This survey was developed by a group of 3 graduate students in the occupational therapy program at Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, PA. Each of the students has an immediate family member who was affected by breast cancer, and the group's faculty advisor is also a survivor. Please help to advance the knowledge of future healthcare professionals by completing this survey. The results of the study will be available on this website in May. Thank you in advance for your participation.

Jodi

It was quick and painless. I hope we get to see the data from what they've compiled. That would be interesting.

Did they put 'hormone replacement therapy' up there by error? I skipped it and put 'Tamoxifen for Hormone positive breast cancer' in the note for 'other'.

I will take the survey after I post this. About a year ago, a student posted for help with a paper on another support site. I was very disappointed at some peoples remarks, practically yelling at the student for even daring to ask such questions of "sick" people. I privately contacted the student and answered her questions. I am very proudto be part of this group of people that are willing to give so much of themselves!!!

I happily did the survey! My answers sounded awful about the husband relationship stuff BUT that was my big EX husband and there was no place for a NEW and better one...LOL.

This group is AMAZING! I agree Maryann and you are one of the ones who make it SO amazing!

I took survey also. easy. The only thing I wondered about was which cancer they were asking about, so I filled it out pertaining to this time. Most of answers were all the same anyway.

Dear Christine and Kristen,

________________________________

I just wanted to let you know that we have closed the survey and will no longer be accepting responses. If anyone does try to click on the survey link, they will get a message that says it is closed. Thank you again for all of your help! It looks like we're going to have some great results. I will e-mail you a copy of our final manuscript when it is finished in May. This way you can post it on the website for members to read.
