help battling insurance co for treatment

Joe, anyone,

Do you know of any organizations that will help patients fight with their insurance companies when they refuse to cover off label treatments? I am asking on behalf of a family member.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I went to the attorney general for our state and got action from Her...I had to fill out paperwork, then they had to review and question, but it worked....

Could you contact the drug manufacturer to see if they offer assistance?

I don't know about off label but I was told from my onc that anyone in a study the insurance was obligated to pay via the state of California. I hope this helps.
