I was talking to a pain management dr. who recommended a tens (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation ) Unit for chronic ankle tendonitis pain that I have. I told him that I was a breast cancer survivor and asked him if it would be ok for me to use it. He told me that about two weeks ago it was approved by the FDA to kill cancer cells! I didn't believe him and I could not find any information about this.
Has anyone heard of this?
Or has anyone used one of these machines for pain and did it work?

Thanks

Laurie

I used one of them during 2 months, 4 hours a day, for severe neuropathy in the arm after mastectomy. It did not help me so I stopped. I know it works for some people for different kinds of pains so you should try. It cannot hurt.
I have no information about the effect on cancer cells.

I used one for back pain once...it helped some. I do know we used them in the hospital for post surgical pain management on those who were unable to take pain meds due to addictive nature.\

My mom was placed on a TENS, and we were told by her onc that if the normal cells are stimulated, whats to stop the cancer cells from being stimulated ? She had the TENS placed on her face due to presumed Bells Palsy--- which after more tests was found to be a parotid gland cancer tumor causing the effects of Bells Palsy.

I don't know what the answer is- but if your doc said it was FDA approved, I would certainly ask where he found or read that info.

I used a tens machine when I was in labor and it worked. That's the good news.

The bad news was that I was diagnosed six months later with cancer (which undoubtedly had been present six months earlier, I just didn't know about it). So, maybe it works for pain, but it didn't kill off my cancer, although there is the possibility that I didn't use it long enough (not that the labor wasn't long enough already).

Hey everyone...I have an answer.

The unit that cures cancer is a modified TENS unit. Basically it is approved by the FDA for brain tumors.

http://www.fda.gov/MedicalDevices/ProductsandMedicalProcedures/DeviceApprovalsandClearances/Recently-ApprovedDevices/ucm254480.htm

the way that it works is the electricity interrupts the cellular division of cancer cells and literally kills them when they try to spread. It is completely non-toxic and non-invasive. A miracle really!

I am trying to figure out if I can use my TENS unit (which I LOVE) to do the same thing. I just need to study the frequency/etc being used. To study more, look up the patent. Also google it. It is a very exciting discovery.

Electricity can also kill candida and parasites as well! It is super duper powerful and all natural.

Remember ladies...eat an organic diet, no microwave, no fast food, drink distilled water and take food based organic vitamins. This will promote your fast healing! Much love, Liberty Lisa
