Elizabeth Edwards, current meds?

I watched the Edwards tonight on Jay Leno and she described her medications. As I remember: one little yellow pill a day and a fifteen minute infusion once a month? I'm curious if anyone knows what medications she's taking. Is herceptin one possibility? She looks good and whatever she's taking, it doesn't seem to be exacting too much of a toll.

Also, as an aside. I wish she were running, so I could enjoy voting again.

The 15 minute infusion is Zometa. She has known bone mets as was well documented by the media. It is well known she is not Her2+. The yellow pill is Femara (she is slightly hormone positive but not enough to really say so - her onc didn't put her on anything after initial treatment as she was considered triple negative).

Supposedly her mets came back more hormonally sensitive than her primary bc.

It sounded so simple but for sure it's not: a little yellow pill, 15 minutes a month, and she still has hair!

I got to talk with her a while after the Discovery tv show, Living with Cancer. She not only looks just as great in person, but she is bubbling with energy and brilliance. She is VERY sharp and quick on her feet. She is not her-2 positive--this is public information now, but she is very well-informed about her-2 and herceptin. Whether her husband wins or not, she should be considered as a strong ally in this fight and as an amazing role model for us all. How brave she is, because for me, to be in her situation, without herceptin, is the scariest scenario of all, meaning triple negative, although apparently, this recent episode is--as was mentioned above-- being considered as slightly hormonal positive apparently.
