There was a very good article from the American Cancer Society site. I emailed it to you - it was too long to post and I was having trouble copying the link.

Oh, now it is copying! Hope this helps, Flori

Michelle,
You have touched my heart. I will be praying for you, your family and that the new treatment will get you to remission again.

Hi Michelle,

"Off Label" is when a medication is prescribed for a condition other than those it is specifically approved for. For example, Avastin is approved for treatment of colorectal cancer, but your doctor can prescribe it "off label" for breast cancer.

Please hang in there, Michelle. I know this must be terribly frightening for you to have had such mixed results in controlling your situation. You're dealing with a pretty complicated set of circumstances - keep pushing, there are a lot of treatments out there, it's a matter of finding the right combination.

Much love
Chris

Michelle, I'm believing for you and the "magical" "right" combination for your mets. How honored I feel to "know" the courageous women who daily fight their battles and yet continue to bless each other with prayer, knowledge, and belief. I'll be praying for you and and hoping for some peaceful moments of contentment. Much love, mary anne

Thank you for your kind words of encourgement. Also thank you for the complment on the photo. I have to admit, it is eight years old. It is our wedding day when we were married at a public beach on Lake Michigan in (at the time) our home town. It is my favorite photo.
