Fellow Sisters,

There's a bill called the Breast Cancer Patient Protection Act which will require insurance companies to cover a minimum 48-hour hospital stay for patients undergoing a mastectomy. It's about eliminating the drive through mastectomy where women are forced to go home just a few hours after surgery, against the wishes of their doctor, still groggy from anesthesia.

Lifetime Television has put this bill on their web page with a petition drive to show your support, last year over half the House signed on.
You need not give more than your name and zip code number.

it only takes 2 seconds - please pass it on to your family and friends.

Thanks,
Jean

I have had emails about this bill for 3 years now... I wonder when it is really going to get some steam behind it?

Brenda,

That is why it is vital that we push harder to get this passed! Last year
half the house voted for the bill. Half - how many of the other half I have
to wonder have wives, mothers, daughters, sisters etc? It is a shame that
we have to partition to even get this!

As far as I am concerned : THE SQUEAKY WHEEL GETS OILED"
Let's oil our wheels.

THANKS AGAIN,
Jean
