I am home from Florida. Arrived here yesterday and it is brutal cold. Around zero and the wind chill factor is about 30 to 40 below. It was warmer in Dec. when I left. Anyway, should warm up very soon as spring is just around the corner according to the calendar. I had a wonderful time in Florida for 2 months. I do miss the beach walks, the sun, and most of all the people we met were just so friendly and wonderful. I am so thankful that God gave me the health to travel to and from Florida as well as be able to spend two months there. I am missing it already! Already I see the doctor tomorrow and see where we go from here. I am feeling great and looking forward to summer and going to camp. Now, its back to art class and deciding which picture to paint from Florida. I got so many of sunsets, beaches, and birds. Wishing you all could take a trip as wonderful as this one. I even enjoyed my curly hair-never had natural curly hair until now and I love it. It is so soft almost like baby hair so good thing I don't have to do much to it. curly hair too? so is that a wig in your pic? glad you got home safe and sound but sorry it is so cold. we have had a brutal winter here in chicago. sure wish i could have escaped for 2 months. so glad you had the chance to do so. Glad to also hear you are feeling well. Here's to an early spring for us all.

Welcome home to the great Northeast. It will be Spring in less than 2 weeks! It sure has been cold the last couple of weeks. You missed January which wasn't as bad as February and the beginning of March.


The daffodils will be popping up soon.

Yes, that is a wig in my picture! I need to do a new one with my natural hair. Most people do not even realize I wear a wig most of the time. I keep my hair the same color all the time for that reason. It is getting warmer here. hugs, Sandy

Welcome home - I am SO jealous of your 2 months in Florida! Sounds like it was wonderful, but I know it's also nice to be back home. Daylight savings time starts tommorrow, spring won't be far behind!
