Hi all .. Just wanted to share for a change instead of reading and posting ...
I have been off Chemo since 9/4/06 and on Hercp only ... I am starting to feel so much better now ... At times you are not sure if you can feel normal again..
My last two pet scans in Oct & Dec did show 1 area of concern in the pec muscle ( hypermetabolic lymph node ) but was unchanged in Dec so my onc said to continue with Hercp only and do another pet scan in March ... I have felt so much better I am now able to exercise some ... I was just surprised that Hercp started now to work alone where as before it had not ... I had tried it alone for 3 months back in 2005 and I had a reocurrence which finally led to my mastectomy ... So this can be something positive for others to know about Hercp....

God Bless,

Debbie

Debbie -

Thanks for taking the time to share your good news. I will pray for your "area of concern" and hope that that is ALL it ever becomes!

Hi Debbie,

Thank you for sharing. It is good to hear about this type of if at first you don't succeed try try again. On paper and in bowling it is easy. When it is your life, not so easy. Congratulations and thank you so much for sharing.

Love and Peace, Carolyns

Debbie,

Great news! Herceptin alone is definitely much nicer than anything and chemo, and I'm glad to hear it's working for you. I've been on Herceptin alone after chemo for almost 2 years, and I feel terrific.

Keep up the good work!
Chris

I loved your post and am so happy for you. I needed to hear that this is possible, even if not for me, it makes such a difference knowing what can happen within treatment for people. Thank you.
